Dec. 3rd, 2018 07:34 pm
[ BASIC PLOT ]
The year is 2038 and Detroit, Michigan has reclaimed its nickname Motor City by becoming an influential hotbed of the android industry. Humanlike AI have entered the workforce as everything from manual laborers to housekeepers, spearheaded by the mega corporation Cyberlife. However, recently certain androids have been disobeying their human owners, defying their programming, and running for freedom, often leaving a wake of violence behind them. These dangerous rogues are called Deviants.
Enter Connor, android model RK800 #313 248 317 - 52. He is a prototype designed by Cyberlife specifically to work alongside the Detroit Police Department in investigating and apprehending Deviants. He's Cyberlife's official attempt to cover its own ass, in other words.
[ SPECS ]
CONNOR LOOKS LIKE:
a young man of average height, perhaps in his early thirties, with well-kept dark hair and brown eyes. He has freckles. His face is open, easy to trust, but his facial expressions are muted. He enjoys playing with a 1994 quarter. It is his only personal possession.
ANDROID PARTICULARS:
Connor wears a grey uniform outfitted by Cyberlife, including his serial number and the word Android emblazoned on his back. A circular LED is inset in his right temple--it typically glows blue, but can turn yellow and even red in times of high stress. Connor can be repaired from major damages, such as swapping out arms and legs, and even replaced if he is "killed." Cyberlife can simply re-upload his memory into a newer body of his model. He bleeds blue--this substance is called Thirium and regulates his biocomponents. In place of a "heart" he has a Thirium pump/regulator that is removable and, again, exchangeable. He can reconstruct possible crime scene scenarios by sight and even analyze substances by tasting them. Yes, he's going to put that blood in his mouth, and you can't stop him.
PERSONALITY:
Connor is programmed to be generally amicable but also a brutally pragmatic negotiator. He is naturally inquisitive, but he does not have complex emotions... in theory. (What happens if the Deviant-hunter becomes himself a Deviant?)
